Guangzhou Carbon Emissions Exchange completed the first auction of carbon quota GDEA in 2019 this morning. The auction volume was 400,000 tons, and it was finally sold at 28.2 yuan / ton, which was close to the closing price of 28.22 yuan / ton on the previous trading day. It was learned from several participating organizations that most of the auctions were auctioned by enterprises. Guangdong originally planned to complete this auction in mid-to-late February, but it has been postponed by the epidemic situation until now. The policy reserve price of the original plan is calculated according to the weighted average transaction price of the Guangdong carbon market quota listed click-through transaction in the first three natural months of the auction announcement date. However, after the epidemic, it was adjusted to 90% of the above weighted average price on April 10, and the GDEA listing price dropped from around 30 yuan / ton to 28 yuan / ton in the middle and late April. Guangdong plans to organize two auction issuances in 2019, and the time and number of the second paid is not yet announced. It will be determined according to the actual situation of the company's 2019 carbon emissions verification and market demand.
